how can I go to rimini from florencew - Rimini travel question

You can catch a train from Ravenna and Ancona to Rimini... can you get to either of those places from Bologna?

... ferry crossings from Italy to Croatia. So far hitting brick walls on the net. Looking at travelling from Bari to Dubrovnik shortly before Christmas and returning Split to Ancona shortly before new years eve this year. Any help would be appreciated. Cam
