My wife and I will be traveling to Guam, Saipan and Tinian next April or May. It will be a return trip for me as I was stationed there while in the Coast Guard back in '69/70. I was on a ship and sailing for most of my tour so I wasn't able to do ...

... malls around. Youc an get to these quite easily from the hotel as they have free shuttle buses or trolley buses which cost about $2! All the shops offer military discount. The people in Guam are extremely friendly and you will have a blast!

We had mould in our room in Guam but they soon moved us to a better room though, so that was good! Obviously we had to tell them because of health risks, not just for us but to anyone else who stayed in that room!

... have not been anywhere yet that my passport wasn't stamped for me, except England of course, but that's pretty obvious, I have a British Passport! In my passport now I have stamps from Bahrain, UAE, Guam, USA, Japan and Korea - pretty nice!

... no means a cheap flight! But from my experience the passengers are mostly single people or older people! I think families tend to go to Guam for their vacation! Although its much cheaper to fly there its not very cheap once you are there!

... Kokeshi dolls too, but Alex likes to take if off the shelf and hide it! Plus we have this weird looking wooden statue from Guam and one that looks like its made from black rock with holes in it from Korea, looks a bit like the statues on Easter Island ...
