... as far as I know it is mostly lizards and such - of course I am sure there are some snakes but I don't know how likely you are to see one. I only saw one the entire month I lived in Ghana (and it was an extremely poisonous one). Maybe I was lucky!

depends on the frequency that ur mobile supports. i think common dual bands or tri bands mobile can be used in Ghana. my old sony ericson worked in Ghana with no problems, it's a dual bands mobile.and now i use a palm treo instead of the SE.
