Which region in Germany?

... ; Black Forest), Heidelberg. That's the area I liked best. "ich sprechen deutsch" I think you mean "Ich spreche Deutsch." But seriously, Heidelberg is definitely another good option, or just about anywhere in the Rhine valley.

I strongly recommend to travel in the North of Germany. Hamburg is the nicest city in all of Germany and a visit to Berlin is a MUST. The south, e.g. Bavaria, also Heidelberg etc. is quite touristy. Happy travels!

... from Copenhagen to Frankfurt and will be staying a total of 4 nights. We fly home from Frankfurt. We thought we would go to Heidelberg and stay there for the 4 nights and just go on day trips but the hotels are either mostly booked or well over $200 ...

Ja. I have heard that Heidelberg is very nice place but unfortunately I haven't been there yet.

Take the train to downtown Frankfurt or Heidelberg.

... we found a hotel close to the train station on the river ,we would be able to get to see the sights by taking the train to Heidelberg, etc or getting a day boat ride. They don't seem too far from the airport. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Maybe just go along the south - Munich, Berchtesgaden, Fussen, Lindau, Freiberg (& Black Forest), Heidelberg. That's the area I liked best. "ich sprechen deutsch"
