Can one walk from the Bacharach train station to the K-D boat dock? If possible, how far is it. Internet maps do not clearly show a route.

... the airport at 59 mins past each hour and goes to Mainz. There you change train to the MRB (Mittelrheinbahn) departing at 30 mins past each hour. It will get you to Bacharach within 1:25 hours after departure from the Airport. Check out www.rmv.de.
