... cruise? There are tons of beautiful views all over Europe that you can see from the deck of a small ship. The Rhine is extremely nice and you are still on the border of France. If you google "Europe River Cruise" you will get a lot of options.

... beer gardens Heidelberg is also a great city (full of stuents) and Cologne is also worth a visit. For the beer and the food, Bavaria is the best :-) The coast is also quite nice, the isles in the Easrern sea like Rügen and Usedom are really beautiful.

I really liked the French Riviera, especially Nice. You will never hear a more beautiful sound than the waves crashing into the pebbly shore on the beach in Nice. Amazing.

Couldn't agree more... I have always been amazed that a number of tourists think of Nice as only an airport, some of the best holidays I've ever had have been in Nice and Monaco.

... of tea. In Rome, you can still look for the overcrowded attractions (Colosseo, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Vatican city, the Pantheon, etc.), but I especially liked just walking around in the streets, it has a nice feel to it. Hope it helps
