I'm traveling to the area around Latacunga, Ecuador and would love to follow it with a short Amazon tour (maybe four days). Any suggestions about where to go and how to get there?

... week that leave about every half hour from Latacunga to Quevedo via Zumbahua, and probably more on Saturdays. Should have plenty of time to see the market if I catch a morning bus from Latacunga, because the bus to Chugchilan passes Zumbahua around 2pm.
