the best season is betwwwn December and April. the northern part of Costa Rica anlong the Pacific is a bit dryer then the southern part. We love Tamarindo,and the weather there is good besides October, when it can rain daily...we stayed right across the ...

... . Not much for night life-the bars/restuarant closed around 11, but great hiking. If you're into surfing I would stop in Tamarindo or Jaco- I preferred Tamarindo-the beaches were nicer, but Jaco had a better night life. Another big tourist desintation ...

There is a new company called Amagi Adventures out of tamarindo that I hear is really good. they do airport pickups and surf packages to take you to different surf breaks. amagiadventures.com i will probably use them when i go
