Colombia is PASSION!!!

... . I am also hoping to get to Machu Pichu in Peru. Ambitious but I think I can do it by flying a lot. Also, I plan to go to Leticia in the Amazon and Medellin. Any particular advice for me in Colombia? Are you living in Bogota? Cheers, Barrett

Hi Katy, Yes, previous posters are right that generally you don't need malaria pills for Colombia, unless you are going out into the jungle. This means both the Colombian Amazon, accessible from Leticia (you fly here from Bogota) or the Lost city ...

... anyones advise on the best places to visit in Columbia and any other info you think would be helpful! Thanks!! Cartagena is the best. I also recommend Leticia for the Amazon and Pereira in the heart of the coffee growing region.
