... , it is not a very long distance from Kaifeng to Xi'an. At last, take a flight to Beijing from Xi'an and go back to your home from Beijing. Take the geographicial factors into consideration, I think this change is better for your tour in China.

the Bell Tower Hotel is a very nice location in Xi'an.most tourists enjoying this hotel,it's in the centre of Xi'an city.near by the Bell Tower and Drum Tower.it's a four stars hotel. Dai20008@yahoo.com.cn

... that in mainland China you buy one ticket per sector therefore you need two tickets for a return trip. From flights from Shanghai try Shanghai Airlines from Hongqiao Airport (Domestic flights) and also Air China. I think those would be the best options.
