Hello Lucy, You can indeed take a bus from Puerto Natales up to Puerto Montt. From where there are regular connections on to Santiago. You should be aware that you have to return through Punta Arenas, then into Argentina in order to get back into Chile ...

Torres del Paine in Chile is a beautiful trek. Head to Puerto Natales to start your trek off. I would highly recommend staying at the Eratic Rock Hostel. Very friendly owners with a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy!
