... in the "Introduce Yourself" thread as well. Hopefully, you can find someone to travel with you all the way to Cochabamba. I think you said in another post that you would have to purchase an airticket to Cochabamba once you arrive in La Paz. ...

... La Paz airport to Cochabamba, which wouldn't be so bad because flights go out daily. From there, I would take a taxi from the Cochabamba airport to the bus terminal in the city, and take the bus 5 hours to Parque Machia. Is this safe for a 19 year ...

Anyone travelled to / from Paragay and Bolivia by bus? Is it really as awful as my paraguayan pals keep telling me? I was thinking about Asu- Cochabamba, then Santa Cruz- Sucre and then fly to La Paz and fly back to Asuncion..comments welcome. Alan

... in a bus has to be when i was in Bolivia, but not on the most dangerous road. It was a route from La Paz to Cochabamba on an overcrowded bus (most of us gringos had to stand, as the driver put it) with some of us having some pretty bad altitude sickness ...
