Didn't like Anguilla
Posted on Jun 24, 2009, 11:51:00 by starlagurl
I went to Anguilla and I didn't like it. I thought that it was a shame that you had to rent a car to get around, no bicycle rentals in sight... Everything was too far to walk to. There was barely anything to do but go to the Pyrat rum factory, and ...

Which island?
Posted on Jun 29, 2009, 13:49:59 by starlagurl
... St. Martin, is more expensive, however, it's better for nightlife than the Bahamas is. You can also do short excursions to quieter islands like Anguilla and Saba. (I loved Saba way more than Anguilla, BTW) Good luck, let us know what you decide!

Best island in the Caribbean
Posted on Jun 12, 2009, 10:22:57 by starlagurl
I really didn't like Anguilla. You can't get around that island without a car, or hitchhiking everywhere. You also can't walk, because everything is far away from everything. It's bizarre.

Best island in the Caribbean

Well if you go by the film Cocktail - Jamaica. Probably not best way to pick a destination though. Totally agree. This is the best island in Caribbean. But my friend told me Anguilla is also nice too. I hope I could spend whole season there.

Best religious place?
Posted on Nov 21, 2008, 09:51:37 by starlagurl
Yeah, I love religious places. One of my most favourite places I went, was a chapel in Anguilla. It was made out of clay. The walls didn't have any windows, but there were hundreds of small stars carved out of the walls instead. I don't have the ...

Curacao: best avoided
Posted on Jul 7, 2008, 21:37:05 by mmbcross
