i'm traveling to cabo san lucas and am concerned about the recent violence in mexico, particularly the latest incident in san luis potosi. how far is cabo from the areas where the drug-related violence is occurring?

We are going to Cabo for two months. I understand I need a tourist pass which I get at the border crossing and then take it to a bank to pay for it. My question is if I cross on a Sunday will I be able to find a bank at which to pay for the pass? ...
