Neither of us had much sleep last night but you'll not find a Scot hanging around in bed if there is a free hot breakfast to be had so we were up and at our table before the 9:00 a.m. cutoff. Enjoyed juice, fresh fruit, Mexican style frittatta with salsa and freshly brewed coffee

We left Halifax in the rain and stopped at Deanna's Aunt Trudy's in Cap Pelee for lunch. A beautiful spot but the clouds got more ominous as the afternoon passed. We managed to get to Charlottetown before the downpour but it soon became monsoon like. We later learned it was the tail of a tropical storm.
