Known as the Venice of India, Aleppey backwaters is amazing. Canals are the common way of circulating in the city. I met this nice Chilean guy, Pachito at the guesthous I stayed at. He was a bit confused by all the Gods in the hinduism religion and was happy to find 1 temple nearbuy with just 1 God and no beast to venerate!!!
