The lake is really nice, there is a light breeze, that is a little chilly, and though the towns aren't too populated, they are closer together. They are a lot less touristy than imagined, because of their names( peacock point;hickory beach) and their placement on shore. There are few grocery stores, and the towns have too many houses, with few places to stop. The few places we have rested have been very nice, though. ...
Ontario day Eleven
It was a long but satisfying day. We biked 93 miles, most with the wind at our back, or a cross breeze. The change of scenery was taken, gratefully, and we are now seeing other crops beside corn and wheat (potatoes, cherry trees, apple trees). The water is a really blue green, really tropical looking. Long but beautiful ride
... I walked up to the place I realised it was quite Beverly Hills and I felt very uncomfortable clad in lycra and smelling a little like I had been cycling for nearly 6hrs! I took a picture and lheaded into town where I had a quick lunch and was then perplexed by trying to by a coffee at the coffehouse to find they didn't sell coffee..... I walked out rather bewildered and jumped back on my now decaffinated bike!

Our first and only longer trip on the Honda Shadow. After this trip, we realized, if we wanted to travel using a motorcycle we would need to upgrade JUST a bit!
