      ... food was delicious, particularly the coconut rice!! We packed up our leftovers and went to the pub where Chad normally plays in his band, Agent 77. It was nice to sit outside in the warm air enjoying half price vodka and shots thanks to Chad. It was good to meet their mates and see what they get up to on a school night.       ... getting lively about! Day 13, last couple of days left together. We took a short drive north to surfers paradise, Gold Coast. Well known as the most touristy, party centre of the east coast. Unfortunately I was having a clumsy day, not quite functioning correctly.       ... effort wasn't as good as I thought it should have been! I did randomly bump into someone I knew from b&q that's lived over here for over a year now which was really funny! It was sad to leave so soon having made so many lovely friends there but I'm sure we will all keep in contact and see each other at various points along the coast!
