        ... needed to be helped by fellow passengers in the medical profession. Thankfully I think both were eventually ok. We didn't have to make any sort of emergency landings anyhow. Then lastly whilst I arrived in to Dakar on time, my little bag that I'd had to check in because of having emergency needles inside, didn't arrive until two days later.         ... 8217;t have to walk home by myself. Knowing I would have a bit of time I headed to McDonalds to use the amenities and to get a chocolate sundae – NO CHOCOLATE SUNDAES!! Only strawberry or some other flavour that I can’t even remember, I was in too much shock at hearing the words NO CHOCOLATE! I just don’t understand.

        Anyway, I headed back to the bus stop to wait for Lyndon and the kids, and wait, and wait and wait. It seems I was very lucky ...

        ... out and make sure they were all somewhere close to weight restriction. The transfer arrived at 4pm to get to Heathrow....traffic was a nightmare...took us just over an hour to get there, the hotel advertised Heathrow as being 14 miles or 20 minutes away.....only if done at 3am I'm sure. Big flights now with an overnight stay in China, nearly home and one more blog to do, then you will all have that extra five minutes in your week back that you have wasted reading my rambling ...

        Day 1 - Wednesday We said goodbye to mum as she headed off to school for work this morning and dad dropped us at Heathrow.
