... which are both on the way to the Estates Theatre (where we are going to a concert tomorrow evening) then it was onto Wenceslas Square (150m wide and 750m long) which is the main shopping area with all the lovely shops of Prague. We strolled up and down that discovering lots of beautiful passages hidden in alleyways and arcades. There was one in particular with a statue of an upside down horse with St Wenceslas!

... go to Prague the second travel weekend available, so I decided that it would be my first destination instead. I’ve learned that it is far easier to travel in small groups rather than with excessive amounts of people (like say, 26), so it brought me much joy to attempt to take on the world by my lonesome (with the company of Danny of course). ... one of the top 3 most over rated tourist attractions in all of Europe but for a clock that is over 600 years old it is pretty impressive. Having the guide explain how it worked really made it. From there we walked through the town square and looked at the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn. Our tour guide was an Aussie guy who had married a Czech girl and now lives in Prague. He was a funny and enthusiastic guide and explained the complex history of wars, kings ...

... having dinner was why we were down there, having drinks seemed to be the main agenda for most. As there were quite a few other tour groups at the hostel - 99%25 of which seemed to be Australian - the courtyard was packed. A few enthusiastic volleyballers provided some quality entertainment.
