After that back home to pack the cases and clean up the apartment. Went for a late lunch early dinner and ten back home. Sat around for an hour or two, arranged a taxi for the next day, set the alarm and off to bed.

A tiring day as it was a long walk, about 4 to 5 hours, on a warm day.

We were pretty lucky during our visit in that the Czech Philharmonic was playing at the open air concert hosted in one of the courtyards. They were quite good, but we moved on after hearing one song.

Here we are in Prague. This city is simply gorgeous. It really does look like Aurora or Belle should pop around the corner and burst into song. Here's a rundown of our past two days...

yesterday we left Berlin and stopped in the town of Dresden for lunch. Dresden was completely levelled in the Second World War and the city has done a major rebuilding of its old historic buildings. Very very pretty.

... and it was wonderful - and cheap.

Today we visited a heap of "sights" and "weird sights" (see pics) recommended both google and Tripadvisor.
Visited Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathredral.
Had a picnic at the base Petrin Tower.
Shame we had to suffer some drizzle but I have been REALLY lucky with the weather so far, so can't complain.

Tomorrow a "surprise" day-tour to share with you - get your tissues...
