... were awoken by a huge party outside our hut and our neighbour non stop puking for the entire night! (No it wasn't me). Today we have mainly sunbathed on the beach and swam in the hot clear sea. We swam out to a raft which has been made from wood and big plastic bottles. This afternoon we walked into the town and booked our elephant trekking trip. Tomorrow we are going to ride, bathe and feed the elephants. Will let you know how it goes ...

... away and we were close to landing. Welcome to Myanmar! We landed and did the usual. Passport control, immigration, baggage claim. Found our guide Dominic, boarded a bus and drove into Yangon (the preferred Burmese name) which means end of enemies. The name was changed in 1948 when Burma got it independence from Britain. ... had the Thai beer on it. We the went to a street nearby to scout where we were going to eat dinner and also to go to a souvenir shop we read about.
