After this we got chicken for dinner that was incredible greasy and fired. i felt so sick after eating it.
We went back to our hostel where we drank at the bar and played pool.
We finished about 1:00am and went to our room.

... Dutch doughnut, which tasted amazing but 3 Euro seemed a bit rich for a doughnut. I walked up and down the Red Light District and was surprised that the women advertising their wears from behind doorways and windows all seemed to be at least 40 years old. I'm not judging, but I rather imagined that Amsterdam's sex industry would be catering to a younger generation. It was by now nearly 2pm, and the Weather app indicated rain starting at 3pm ...
... it's been decriminalised. So although you are not allowed to have weed, if you're caught with it, that's not illegal. So weird! The red light district is actually the cleanest and safest neighbourhood. There are police, undercover police, security guards and surveillance cameras! There's also a church and a kindergarten right in the middle :P oh Amsterdam! The symbol on the shield for Amsterdam is of a xxx which is actually not the symbol for porn, just the ...

Our final restaurant stop was Bazar in the De Pijp neighborhood. A crazy hodgepodge of Middle Eastern flavors located on the same street as Albert Cuyp, but being Sunday there was no market going on. The road was almost entirely empty in an eerie way.
Unfortunately now our time in Amsterdam had come to an end. We returned our bikes and hopped a tram to the train station.
Before making it to Bruges ...
... rather soaked. As i approach the port I catch up with two other bikes heading the same way and simply follow them and join the line of traffic for the ferry. After 10 minutes in the queue all us bikers are sent over to stand under a shed roof and out of the wet weather and ten minutes later we are instructed to ride up the ramp and onto the ship.
