Day 16. This morning I started my push towards making it to Wyoming by the weekend. I had a beautiful 4 hour drive to Park City where I planned to stay for two nights so that I could visit my friends Allie and Weston while I was out there. I rolled into this quaint little town Thursday afternoon and had some time to get acquainted with my surroundings before Allie got out of work. I had some tea and took a walk through the park and stopped to talk to some people. There were a number ...

Once we are set up we head over to see Aunt Bea. It's great to be able to travel and see family. After hugs and welcomes, Erik and Gretta arrive with Jillian. Bea has fixed a spaghetti dinner and we enjoy great conversation and catching up. We were in this area in 2012 when they gave us the grand tour, as only locals can, of the Salt Lake City area.

... a simple hand gun. Today is the day I am going to rectify that.

Entering Doug's Shoot'n'Sport, the guy behind the counter asks what he can do for us. I tell him I'd like to rent a hand gun. What brand & model he asks? I don't have a clue. He suggests to try a Ruger SR-9, says it's a nice little thing. I guess he knows better than I do. About 3 minutes and a credit card swipe later he pushes a gun, a box of ammo and eye and ear protection in my hands. I shyly ask ...

We got off and went through the West gate where there was a small information place ... there were lots of people there and groups of two girls walking around holding a couple of small notepads but one of them had a bible. They seemed to have name tags with a picture of their country's flag.

When we went into a building we were followed in by two girls. We walked around some more - beautiful gardens but really pristine ...
