... until 2pm so decided to find somewhere for breakfast and to take the drive slowly. Rob is managing to pick up driving on the wrong side of the road really well, with only a couple of almost whoopsies, although he has had to put up with some seat squeezing, panicked squeals etc from me (Matt and Bec - see it isn't just your driving). We found a little place called Chuck's Coffee Shop which was a really stereotypical American diner, as soon as we ...

... mom picked us up from school we immediately went to the Mission Inn (in Riverside) just because we could. Around Christmas they have a lot of decorations and the plaza has caroling, ice skating and other festive stuff. This was a good start to our break and it is coming to a close quickly since we have a week before classes start.

By my next update my classes will have started and second semester will be well under way. Until then Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

... out of a National Geographic Documentary, we witnessed in those next few minutes with our own eyes the pure, raw, and powerful beauty of Mother Nature. The two whales continued to breach their entire massive bodies out of the water with such grace and form, the sight brought tears to my eyes. I felt so connected in that moment to the sea and to the pure power of nature that I all I could do was watch ...
