Awoke to a dismay rainy day. Killed off any plans of short walks in the park. Decided to go to the lookout at the top of Zion Canyon. A short drive followed by a 1 kilometer walk. The walk required a steep climb up the side of the mountain. We thought we were prepared by rugging up, and taking umbrellas. It started to snow lightly at the start of the walk, no big deal. When we arrived at the lookout, it was a covered in clouds, so no view of the canyon.

... but much bigger. Everything on a massive scale, 2,000 acre farms with grain and potatoes everywhere. About 140 miles later down highway 89 we stopped for a break at Burger King. At least we just had one between us! But then found cherry Garcia ice cream as a lolly so the good intentions were dumped. Some guy at the till bought $100 of lottery tickets having won only $4 the previous week, bad investment.

... familiar with, but I ended up stumbling across some information about Silversea cruises and the Mediterranean itineraries. After reading several reviews of this luxury cruise line, I knew sailing on one of their ships would be the perfect way to ensure that Scott enjoyed cruising as much as I do.

We ended up booking a 7-night cruise from Rome to Venice on the Silver Wind and I knew it would be the vacation of a lifetime!!!
