    Having your RV repaired at a facility such as CW means that you must pack up your home and drive it to the facility. Up until now, we have had on-site service companies come to our rig and fix stuff where we are parked. The advantage to this is convenience. The disadvantage is that the technicians are sometimes not the highest quality in terms of training and certainly not fully prepared in terms of equipment and tools.

    ... to a new home which sits above a wash. I decided this time to purchase flood insurance.

    My new home is slowing shaping up. It will take some time. Everyday I am home, I enjoy sitting out on the patio to watch the birds, rabbits, and javelinas who seem to show up around happy hour most days.

    ... of the coal we find on the ground… that at one time the plant was coal fired… we also assume it had a steam engine that was used to generate steam for some boilers and steam engines to generate electricity, maybe some power for pulleys to power the equipment… And of course coal to heat and melt ...

    Ed played golf today at SaddleBrooke Ranch golf course, about 15 minutes north of Ilene's home. Was paired with 3 guys from Minneapolis area. We had a ball! Almost as much fun as playing with my Michigan crowd. Shot 86, and hit the ball way better than Saturday. Won $1 ...

    ... to be "stretched out" to fill up 3.5 hours. Driving down was interesting - we had to keep only parking lights for the first three miles to eliminate light pollution. Got home at 11:00 PM. Late for Michiganders still sort of on Eastern Time. Once again, beautiful weather, but close to 40F on the mountain, with winds.
