... I had been told by an American friend of mine that this part of Florida was 'white-trash', but I have to admit, we don't always share the same opinions.

We had been upgraded to first class on the flight from Charlotte, North Carolina to Pensacola and were well into the holiday spirit. Workman met us at the airport and it was great to see her again, she was as fun as ever. It was hot and sunny and ...

... and there, Larry saw another surprise: A Plantation Frog. Well, probably that isn't the scientific name for this critter, but he doesn't look much like any frogs we've seen at home. See photo of frog.

Larry & Josh were planning a fishing trip today, at the Intracoastal Canal. When I was a child, this canal was where Daddy and Mina loved to fish. One never knew what kind of critter would bite the hook. ...

... into the hot tub. Mina will be delighted to know that he really LOVED it, and plans to go back. Mina, I told him that when you win the lottery, you're going to get us a hot tub . . . and he wants one as big as the one at the Plantation.

I'm going to close this early tonight - if we do anything else significant, which seems unlikely, I'll write about it tomorrow. Everyone have a great evening - we are.
