      ... 45 mins off zigging and zagging we finally get to the officer awaiting us.. "Sorry.. wrong queue.. go to Special Lane".. easier said than done.. back to the end of that queue .. and wait again for another 45 minutes.. I wonder if our incoming tourists have the same issues.. Language barriers causing delays all around..
      Finally accepted into the country it is quickly down to baggage area and hope ours is still waiting for us ...

      Going to Florida for breast cancer survivor World Dragonboating regatta in October. Probably my last regatta as finding the commitment for training difficult. Dragonboating has given me focus, new friends, social outings, kept me fit and got me out and about. The last couple of years I haven't wanted to be here in Brisbane, wanting a change.       ... and not a very late one so able to go home to get much needed sleep pretty quickly. Friday we borrowed Sara's car and drove up I mt coolum again as we wanted to walk it one last time before New Zealand. We met some guys from very first bootcamp days in the carpark and they informed us that they would be running up the track .... Whilst carrying weights. MENTAL!!       ... tunnel where you see sharks and huge stingrays swimming around and top of you. I also got to see watch the seal show and gosh can they jump and do hand stands!! The Underwater World was actually quite small so I probably finished in about an hr.. cost me $30 I wouldn’t say it was worth it. Outside the Underwater World were some shops right by the harbour, and unfortunately closed early again!!! I kept walking along the boardwalk just to see what’s there and I saw ...

      ... then watched dodgeball all on my lonesome. Missing her already haha. Having different shifts is weird! The next day we thought we would go and spend the movie voucher Lisa had bought us for looking after her cats so we drove to the plaza. Had a glass of wine and then purchased tickets to see the book thief. It was beyond incredible. Some really really good acting and such a good story.
