Barbados was a great island with lovely beaches and nice people. Tom, Tobias, Monika and Dennis went for deep sea fishing and Jen, Linus, Linda, Lucas and Roland took a taxi and went for a tour on the island.

It was raining when we arrived so we did not head over to the beach but Robbie managed to jump right into the lap pool that is outside of our terrace. The terrace is like a slice of heaven, private and pretty. There is a 40 foot lap pool , dining area , sitting area and 2 ...

We spent our time in Bridgetown on foot viewing its old colonial English charm and listening to clipped English spoken with a Caribbean edge. Cricket is the passion here and many street names are very English (although check out the pics, we thought we'd found Avan's lane! (really Cavan's Lane)
