The unhappy couple emerge with their suitcase dragging slowly behind them and glum looks on their faces. We all troop out to the taxi and it's hugs, kisses and the final photo opportunity.
We keep waving until we can't see the car above the greenery and then it's back inside. Omara is the first to speak - "we'll starve" ...
... long stop at a beach and small coral reef for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing.
It's hard to imagine, and even harder to describe how terrific the day was. Suffice to say that while sailing back to the harbour, many were rethinking their lifestyle back home, and discussing, and dreaming of other possibilities.

... the hot sunshine and listening to the roar of the surf. We enjoyed it so much we had another one! :-)
After our beers we walked to the bus stop and got the next bus back to Bridgetown, where we found the same little ramshackle bar we'd visited in February and enjoyed another cold beer, while nearly being deafened by loud soca music coming out of a nearby ghetto-blaster.

... in sight I start sprinting. I was aiming on passing this lady who has been in my sights the whole race. For some reason this old lady in the crowd was shouting "Slow down!". I was thinking screw you old woman. I'm taking this! I did overtake the lady and my race was now finished! I got my finisher's medal which was adorned with flying fish, I guess that's the national animal or fish. Got my post race snacks ...
... to sit along the perimeter around nets. I found a nice little corner to sit while Alex and gang spread along next to me and on the nets. To my dismay, I discovered that my precious sunblock was on my bathroom counter. Of all time for my senility to strike....luckily, the my adopted family and friends brought plenty so I slathered on the 30 and we set sail.
Our captain had introduced himself to us earlier as Josh and as we set off, ...
