... though the tram was full, the beach was nearly empty, the driver told us that the water temperature was 87F. That sounded warm. It was. Never was I so fast under water than this morning. It felt like swimming in a bathtub. We saw dolphins, pelicans, seagulls and other birds. When we took out our sandwiches for lunch we were quickly surrounded by seagulls, but we did not feed them. But it was fun watching them surround us. At the moment the men are busy cracking ...

The day started off nice and sunny, time to work on a tan. Which we did, so it's a short tale to tell today. What we did do is had dinner at a restaurant that was recommended by a friend: Micellis in Matlacha. When we arrived the place was packed. We later found out ...

I've done a little reconnoitering, getting the lay of the land. There is a trolley that runs passed the RV park, and makes about 5 major stops and many lesser ones, as it heads south along beach row. As I did in Zion, on my first trip, I rode the trolley to the end and back to check out the stops. This weekend is the annual sand castle competition and the trolley will take me there.

I've been here all of three days, arrived on Tuesday, Nov 19.

Tomorrow, we finally sort out our hire car, after that we can start to explore Naples without constantly relying on Barbara to run us around and we can prepare for Ma and Pa to arrive on Thursday...
