... to the Gondola to then catch the Peak to Peak Gondola which stretches across the valley to the top of Blackcomb Mountain . The scenery of the Rockies is nothing short of amazing. The real highlight for me would have been the day we travelled from Jasper to Banff on the Icefields Parkway. What a road. It has been voted one of the most scenic roads and I could see why. In every direction and at every turn there were glorious snow capped peaks, or fresh running streams. ... I've decided that the faster I ski, the higher my heart rate gets and the warmer my hands stay. So all in all it was quite a successful day. Tonight however I went and bought some new mittens designed for ice cold temperatures and I've instructed Barney to put his chemical engineering skills to good use and create me an endless supply of chemical toe warmers that I can then stick to my entire body.
