We left Dawson with half a tank of petrol so were on the look out for a gas station. After 25 miles we were getting a tad worried but the map indicated petrol at the Dempsey Highway turn off so we continued on. When we got there it was an unmanned depot so we had to use our credit card to get a code to use to make the pumps work. Sounds easy ..... NOT! After 3 attempts I used the phone to ring the helpline. ... to get to the top of Whistler Mountain. Once at the top we went on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. This gondola ran across the valley between Blackcomb and Whistler mountains.

The cable is the longest and highest unsupported gondola in the world (4.4km, 1,427ft above the valley floor). It only took 11 minutes to get from one end to the other.
We couldn't believe how it was possible to have such a long cable without any support hold up with lots ...
