Two weeks into the journey and this is the absolute noisiest place we have stayed. The walls and ceiling (we are on the first of two floors) are not insulated or are paper thin. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are good. However, the unbelievable noise level distracts from everything positive about this location. If anyone who reads this blog EVER decides to stay in this resort, DO NOT stay in a ground floor unit. When the light fixtures and the A/C vents vibrate from the noise level, you can be assured you are in the WORST of locations. Also, the worst internet connection we have experienced since leaving home

... It is now dark and we can see city lights and buildings lit up, and signs and we get closer. We turn off the highway and onto Las Vegas Boulevard. Olivia just keeps saying wow as we see block after block of lights, and hotels. Both girls are spotting hotels and taking photos. At the south end we stop for a photo under the famous Las Vegas sign. Then we drive to our hotel Paris. After checking out our rooms we head ...
... Turns out being a girl is great in Vegas as promoters of clubs just offer you free tickets and open bar. We got given free tickets to Tiesto. We walked quite a way, and managed to sign up to a pub crawl for Friday. Then we made it back ready for the show.
The show was in Excalibur, which was good because there was a walkway from our hotel to there (many of the hotels are linked). We got our seats near the front, I was actually sat next to a guy ...

Tonight it swaps to be dinner at the Steakhouse in the casino but the prices were horrendous so we went to the Outback Steakhouse, on the strip and that was as good as the first time we were here. Tomorrow, Sean will go to the gun range and later we will catch the bus to the premium outlet store to do some retail therapy. There was a fire show on the street, in front of the Mirage. After dinner, we went into ...
Flying at 3.10 PM is so relaxing. You don't have to get up early. You can do laundry and leave a tidy house for the person who is going to stay at our house for the next four weeks . We're flying Delta and that is a good airline . We watch some movies. 'Home' for instance. The trailer suggested a funnier film , but oh well it killed the time . After 8 hours and 15 minutes we arrive in Minneapolis for a 3 hour stopover. We drink a beer ...
... visited the Las Vegas Mob Museum. It would have to be in the top 3 Museums we have visited thus far, occupying us for a total of 4 and a half hours. Everything from real tommy guns seized by police raids to a brick wall with bullet holes where gangsters were gunned down and enough written, audio and visual content to keep you entertained for hours. If you're interested in anything gang, mob, bootlegging, or detective related ...
