Zur Abwechslung haben wir ns ein bisschen überholt, sind mal ne Weile links gefahren und viel schneller, aber es bleibt langweilig. Zwischendurch kommen 2 Baustellen, bei der ersten dürfen wir 20 Min warten, haben dafür aber eine sehr nette Dame, die das Stoppschild hält und uns über Gott und die Welt aufklärt. Bei der zweiten Baustelle dürfen wir 14 Min warten (zum Schluss waren es 20 Min) und es hatten sich 6 ...

Wir wollten früh weiterfahren und haben vergeblich auf Sebastian und das Auto gewartet. Irgendwann haben wir eine sms bekommen, dass bei unserem Mietwagen die Scheibe eingeschlagen wurde. Während er einen neuen Wagen geholt hat, haben wir im Café gewartet. Da haben wir noch nicht die ganze Geschichte gekannt: Sabis kleiner Rucksack war im Auto und wurde geklaut. ...

... Pass Road was now closed because of 10 inches of snow! The only option was to drive back south and find a lower altitude crossing over the Sierras from east to west, then drive north again to Yosemite National Park.

The drive south was straight forward - once I descended below "blizzard altitude", I traced the snow capped eastern side of the Sierra mountains as more storm fronts crossed over the peaks and buffetted my campervan ...

... sker også mange klippe skred - et sted vi kørte var der lavet en stålbro over floden. Vejen var simpelhen væk, men så er det jo godt der hurtig kan laves en omvej.
Vi spiste vores medbragte mad i "parken", her så vi "hjorte", egern og efter sigende lever der også ca. 3000 sorte bjørne. Vi så nu ingen. På det forrige hold var en mand på vej hen til affaldsspanden blevet mødt af en bjørn. - Der står også på skiltene, at man ikke må fodre dyrene.
Vi kørte nu ind ...

... don't go in the water anymore but it was really cool they jump up and splash and flip and they'd jump up on the stage and slide along it and back into the Water thy were really clever after that we hit the sealion and otter show which was really funny the otter was cute didn't know you could train an otter and the guy who's the evil 1 in heroes the tv show was guest host our 1st famous person ! it wa like a comedy show they did ...
