... ended up at the base of the big rocks we saw from the Point.. El Capitan and hald dome were amazing. I saw some rock climbers on a multiday climb up some of them, i'll attach pics and look for the brigt dot in the middle. After we did that loop we drove out and around on hwy 120 and up at 9000 'altitude we got a primitive cMpsite at Pocupine Flat campground. ... resort we decided to check the map properly and soon saw that we needed to walk another couple of miles to get the bus!! Gutted! The walk up to the bus was a nightmare since it was so steep, the ground uneven and worst of all it was getting dark and the reality of meeting a bear or mountain lion was becoming much more likely! ... the van, so the windows are open just blowing really hot air at us.we then had to climb a hill again, and the temperature gauge was going up and up and up, phil pulled over and the van was boiling over! we were STUCK in death valley!! omg it was ridiulous so so so hot ive never experienced anything like it. We had to wait over 2 hours for the van to cool down so we could refill it, some nice man pulled over and gave us loads of water, we had loads in the back of the van already. ...
