We wander through winding pedestrian only paths, past the odd cafe, monument or play ground to finally reach Streets Beach; a man made beach by the rivers edge, which was nothing like expected. ... park, and we did the full coastal walk that I never got round to doing, so that was nice. we went out for sushi and on the last night tapas nd sangria :P we also did the Everglades tour so got to canoe around the river. Hard work but I left chris to it mostly. BBQ steak for dinner half way, and we went for a swim not realizing it was full of catfish. great. And I nearly steered chris into a branch with a snake on it. woops again.

Due back to Brisbane today before our early morning flight tomorrow, so drove via Surfers Paradise for a few photos then headed up north. Got up quite late and then sorted some stuff out for our month in Thailand. Then headed to 'Queensland Museum' mainly as it has two huge Dinosaurs outside. We looked at the Outback, WW1, Dinosaurs and stuff people collect . . . which was actually quite funny. Then took a lovely walk along the South Bank, broke our diet and had Fish and Chips (YUM!) ... quick announcement by the pilot saying that we were just waiting for our luggage to be loaded and 10 minutes later we were airbound. The great thing about this leg was that it was practically empty so the second the seatbelt lights went out Deb and GJ bolted down the back to get a row of 4 chairs each and I stayed in our row of 3 seats.... makes for a much more pleasant flight when you can lie down and stretch out for a sleep... you can't waste time though cos some people don't ...
