... the coach which took us down the coast past the Queen Mary and to Huntington Beach. It was still pretty cold and the temp was still in single figures but the weather was clear. We walked out along the pier and some of us tried breakfast at a retro cafe. It gave us a chance to work out our tipping skills and also our first lost in translation moment as Bernadine ordered a white coffee and ended up with a large glass of full cream milk. ... we realised, oh my god were going to drive over the bridge!! Joe was chuffed to pieces and has been noted down as a top moment in his driving career.
