... washing, so got some change then put it on, passed the time in the reception using the internet. When it went in the dryer, we went to make food, spent so long trying to work out how to turn the microwave on, though it had a special trick as it was a eco microwave… Even went to reception to ask them how to use it, but they said it was probably broke. When I went back I figured out that only 2 out of 8 plug sockets worked ...

It's so humid outside and the sheet lightning looks great across the bridge! It's been nice to have a relaxing night in whilst the weather is wet. We're not worried though as its scheduled for more sunshine tomorrow so looking forward to driving down to Byron Bay for a day at the ...

Volume 2: Chapter 10 - Hello Oz :)

... heat was a big change from NZ! Tomorrow is supposed to be 37 :0 We ventured through town before crossing over the river to the South a Bank parklands. There was even a beach and outside pool next door to the Christmas market. Very surreal. As we plundered back to the hostel we bumped into the Christmas parade. It is just so odd. I don't feel Christmasy at all. There are reminders up everywhere but it is just nothing like home. To me ...
