We met Lisa and Dave at Arnold's Perk. They have great coffee but no breakfast. So the next step was to go to the Family Diner in Spirit Lake. Great breakfast. The kids went over to Arnold's Park, while we took Izzie back to the coach. Dave brought over a few tacos from our favorite Taco John's for lunch. Then he brought over some Iowa pork chops (the thick ones), sweet corn (they looked good), and some caramel bread pudding for dinner. Prior to ...
... it worked. Izzie went back to sleep and woke up at 7:30. She was a perfect angel during the night. She woke up with a smile on her face. Izzie had a great breakfast of formula, raspberries, and bananas. After breakfast we took Izzie for a walk around the condo. We stopped at the swing for a couple of minutes.
We met up with Lisa and Dave at about 10:00am. Again, it was a perfect night with Izzie.

We met the kids for breakfast at the Prairie Chicks. It was a pretty cool place that had games you could play while having breakfast. We played Apples and Apples. I've never played this game and although I won the most hands, I lost because I didn't realize the game went to seven. My bad!!

... a few minutes, it was Grandma that has the knack of laying Izzie down and putting her to sleep. So while Sheila took care of Izzie, I took a nap as well.
We finished the day with dinner at a local restaurant. Izzie is very close to walking on her own so it was fun walking with her in the restaurant.

Sounds like a strange title for the day but here you go. We left Oelwein, Iowa today heading for Spirit Lake, Iowa to meet up with Lisa, Dave, and Izzie. On the drive, we reached the town of Britt, Iowa - home of the National Hobo Convention and Museum. We googled the word "Hobo" and the definition is a person who travels from place to place in search of a job. So the Hobo is unlike a "Tramp" because the tramp is just traveling and not interested in working. ...
