Melaka is another favourite of ours and after a comical meal in the evening where we yet again got half a meal and after numerous attempts at getting the other half we admitted defeat and bought some fruit instead.
Yesterday we caught a bus to Singapore cleared customs quickly unlike 3 guys who had ignored warning signs that you cannot bring cigs or alcohol in from Malaysia, so they got a huge fine.
... exhibition. Great. Then walked into Marina Bay shopping mall and through to the lifts of the hotel. Wreaking of luxury and money! Got lift up to bar on top floor. Had beer with great minimal tunes, walked through and took in the view over the sea out the back with huge ships facing the same way, the gardens beforehand. On the otherwise the city and cbd. After we had seen enough we went back to Marina Bay Sands Shopping Plaza to get more money out, Singapore is sooo expensive! Particularly food and alcohol. It's so bad we almost became tea totallers, until we found the cheap booze shop which rescued us.

Woke up to a mahoooosive thunder and lightening storm this morning! (Which probably explains why it was so hot yesterday!) We decided to go to Sentosa again today, so that we could go to the aquarium in the morning and the street luge in the afternoon, but it's the first day of a 4 day weekend - and the end of Ramadam so traffic was very heavy, it took us ages to get to Sentosa and all the streets we needed to go ...
... sweats... :P) and there were tons of little clubs with people singing... I don't think me and ari have danced more in our lives! :P We walked around for a bit and then mum wanted a shopping centre, so we like went over two random bridges and down heaps of paths, etc. (I hope no one ever leaves me in this city alone, it is THE most confusing ever) aaaand we came to a mall thing.
