Quite literally at the top of Tokyo (and Japan?)

... some reason, so I took many pictures with it, as well as with my DSLR.
After we got back down, we cruised around "Solamachi" which in Japanese literally means "Sky town." It's a pretty large mall-ish, souvenir-shop-ish compound and it has many cute little shops and adorable cafes for mostly foreigners or tourists to see. I like being a tourist, so we looked around quite a bit, had some green tea ice cream ...

... the local fish market but were too late to witness the tuna auction which generates over 11 million in sales each day, making it the biggest fish market in the world! After a trip to Sony HQ to see the up and coming gadgets we then went to Akihabara, the electric town where you can find anything electronic you could ever want. If electricals aren’t your thing then you can visit one of the ‘Maids ...

... out. We were over the moon. We assumed a front row position next to the dohjyo for most of the day. The first wrestlers were roughly 16 years old, progressively the wrestlers got better and older. The wrestling was exciting, being at the front, we had to watch for flying wrestlers. The central clay Dohjyo was tiny and when wrestlers were thrown out of it, they landed in the crowd. There were roughly 100 of us for the first few hours, sparsley sat ...

Flights and transfers went without a hitch. Sleeping on the plane didn't really happen, though the movie selection was as expected pretty good. I got in Snow White and the Huntsman (rubbish), Safe (good) and American Reunion (better than expected). Some good banter was had with the girl next to me, who was heading off to teach English for six months. I am apprently the coolest guy she knows. I bet she ...

... normal’ drink and some food. Just as Helen was starting to relax, all of the lights went out and loud sirens blasted from the speakers. Strobe lighting flickered on and off and a crowd of people ran out from behind the curtains. The people were dressed as some horrific things – monsters, Freddie Krueger type characters, Grudge type characters, etc. Helen put her head in her hands and was genuinely terrified, whilst John sat and giggled at her. The location was perfect - Asakusa/Sankoku station was pretty in the center of all the areas we wanted to visit in our one week trip. The facility was extremely accommodating and the rooms were decently clean. There were plenty of convenience stores nearby to grab some snacks, breakfast food and drinks. I would go back if I stayed in Tokyo next time!
