24 hours in New Zealand… its raining… however I had the foresight to book myself into a hotel called the Shakespeare hotel that had an awesome bar with its own microbrewery that stayed open till 7am! Due to the rain and the attractive bar I decided to fob off sightseeing Auckland and service the bar chatting to lots of business …

... Senso-ji temple, to enjoy the temple and pagoda all lit up. What a beautiful place at night. Unfortunately the temple shops were all closed, so no more shopping tonight. After a few photos and some fortunes, we headed back to Sasuiso to pack our bags for the last time. We finished the evening with a cup of green tea, some rice crackers and awesome anime on the television. Now, which button do I press for subtitles...

If you've ever seen any of the films of Hayao Miyazaki, such as My Neighbor Totoro or Spirited Away, then you can imagine our delight. So many wonderful items! The location was perfect - Asakusa/Sankoku station was pretty in the center of all the areas we wanted to visit in our one week trip. The facility was extremely accommodating and the rooms were decently clean. There were plenty of convenience stores nearby to grab some snacks, breakfast food and drinks. I would go back if I stayed in Tokyo next time!
