Monday was to be sunny and 27C for the start of my week of exploring London. I purchased a 2-day Hop-on, Hop-off Sightseeing bus ticket and set of from Blackfriars. My first hopping off point was the Tower of London where 3 hours disappeared in a Beefeater guided tour, wandering and lunch. Then a lift to the top of the London Bridge ...
... is coming to an end, and reality is soon to prevail. We have had some amazing experiences along the way. I know there are no pics from London, but Sarah has been doing the photos. Once I get all her 2500 pics, I will compile an album, and send out a link to access them all. Almost one more week of freedom left, then back to work next tuesday. We saved the best till last, and went into Westminster this morning . It was a beautiful sunny and warm day, which meant everyone was out and about. This was the largest number of tourists we have seen this trip. We stopped and watched Big Ben strike 12, admired the beauty of the Houses of Parliament and had a short wait to go into Westminster Abbey.
