... comes as no surprise to locals and guests alike.

Seafood, of course, is a popular item. Tourists and locals both enjoy crawfish, conch, land crabs, and fish such as grouper, yellowtail and red snapper. For breakfast, boiled fish and grits are a favourite, as is homemade island bread. And of course there is the duty free shopping!! If you are after a diamond, apparently, this is the place to come (Carribean).!!

... and Charles got the rest. A profitable day for them. The sky got dark and it started to thunder, so we were concerned for the parasailers. Turned out that Dee Dee and Mike didn't get to go on the jet ski because of lightening, and only Celeste got to parasail before they had to stop for the weather. We walked over to the tender boat and everybody was trying to leave at the same time. We made it on board and were off to the cruise ship. We did have ...

... headed back to the ship to catch our 11 a.m. tour of the Atlantis Resort, a gargantuan development on Paradise Island across from the Cruise Ship terminal. The development includes man made lagoons for water sports and salt water aquariums. Our tour concentrated on the aquariums, which were huge! Full size sharks, rays, sawfish, groupers, eels, compete for attention with exotic reef fish and lobsters-all ...
