... there were loads of party ships whizzing around behind us all lit up with christmas decorations and the Atlantis Resort lit up in the background. As we sailed away, there was a spectacular firework display that lit the skies up and was extremely loud, all so clearly visible from our balcony. We are en route to Fort Lauderdale now to conclude the first half of our trip, its nice as there are loads of people all packed up and getting off tomorrow but we get to stay on for another week ...

... the water. It is so relaxing! Today is a full day at sea and tomorrow we dock at St. Thomas. Overall we are really enjoying cruising- especially with family. Our biggest decisions are deciding where to go and eat. Glad to have this in the middle of our 'world tour' ...

... and a theatre! The only worry was that we were going on a cruise ship in hurricane season! When we set sail we realised that you could hardly feel the ship moving apart from in very rare circumstances, which was good to know. So we had a sunbathe on the top deck, before a quick gym session and then dinner. The dinner throughout the journey was lovely, and with 3 courses each time we stuffed our faces every evening. Then came the evening entertainment, ...

This is National park land so time to put on the snorkel gear and brave the natives in the water! We were lucky enough to make VHF radio contact with another boat, Sabre a Tooth, near the park who managed to radio the site and get us a bouy, so off we head. On arrival we manage to go aground before reaching the bouy so Sally dispatched in the dinghy to see if the nearest bouy was our allocated one, no 4! The look of relief on ...
