... but I decided to try to snorkel anyway, seeing as I'd lugged my stuff with me. For the first time on my trip the sea actually felt chilly! Though it still didn't take me long to get in and it felt fine once I was in. I kept an eye on the waves but they weren't too bad in the sheltered lagoon, however the water was unfortunately very churned up so I soon gave up on the snorkeling and just enjoyed being in the water.
