After a good nights sleep we set off early to climb mount Maunganui, the old lady had told us it would take about 25 minutes to the top, but she must be some sort of ninja as we struggled to make it in 40. The views at the top were very good, as the mount was on the edge of the coast ...

... Just before midnight we ensured our champagne glasses were full and took our position at the front window to watch the countdown and fireworks display over the sky tower. It was so great and went for ages. We continued to dance and drink with our new buddies into the early hours of 2015 before saying our goodbyes and adding each other on Facebook (of course). Scott and I began walking back to our apartment, only for it to start ...

... cold medicine, and that was about it. It was a lovely little town with some great shops, and it was perfect weather for a little relaxing mooch around. The third day of our cruise was a day at sea. We decided that since we wouldn't miss a port stop, we could stay up late and hit the casino the night before. So we got dressed up for the first black tie optional evening and we went for it! Big mistake. We had a great evening, even ...
