Bankside is located a couple of blocks from Queens Street shopping and Britomart. The room was clean and the kitchen had the necessary supplies except a frying pan.
All rooms have a small balcony. We were on the 4th floor and had a view of the neighboring businesses. No complaints. I didn't request a great view. Manager was cordial and willing to help.

Wednesday we were supposed to work 3 or 4 hours but at the end we worked all day: Bad! The rest of the week was not too bad at the moment that I arrived to buy some groceries and my credit card was not working. I called my mum to understand what is going on and she called me back and told me that my credit card ...
... fairly empty (though Nat claims it’s the busiest she’s seen it for a while!) and the Tasman Sea is crashing heavily onto the sand and huge rock formations – not enough to stop a few hardy souls from attempting to swim in it though! We explore a few little caves and tunnels, watching as the sea encroaches through them, then climb another dune over to O’Neills Beach – which is more of the same, with huge weathered rock ...
