    Aujourd'hui départ pour Maui, la derniére île de notre circuit. Vol très rapide, seulement 20 minutes. Arrivée à Kahului, 11h, puis nous allons chercher la voiture. Premier stop, Costco pour le ravitaillement. On c'est arrêté au 5 Palms pour notre déjeuner, pour profiter de la vue, plage et les palmiers …

    The waiters and waitresses all wear vintage Hawaiian clothing, and there is a peaceful elegance to the restaurant. The service is attentive and friendly, but it isn't a casual fish house- each dish and course is thoughtfully prepared and uses local and fresh ingredients. The servers know all about each dish and where the ingredients are from. They print on the menu the name of the vessel that caught the fish that morning, and everything ...

    In all likelihood, you will not see this entry before we slowly make our way to the airport for my journey home. We are going to stop by Ho'okipa Beach to see the surfers and maybe kite or wind surfing. After the beach, we are planning an early dinner at Mama's Fishhouse. (Remember the photos?).

    Somewhere along the way, I will have to change from my Maui clothing back to mainland clothing. Yuck!

    ... that I pretended to paid for. We believe there was someone famous eating at the same time as us but no one would tell us who he was except the "Inspector" or the "Fisherman." We believe he is in a rock band because he had long hair, was not very attractive, and had an attractive blonde attached to him. Whoever he was, we were happy that he paid for the firework display:)
