    Aujourd'hui départ pour Maui, la derniére île de notre circuit. Vol très rapide, seulement 20 minutes. Arrivée à Kahului, 11h, puis nous allons chercher la voiture. Premier stop, Costco pour le ravitaillement. On c'est arrêté au 5 Palms pour notre déjeuner, pour profiter de la vue, plage et les palmiers …

    ... We came across a Sears, and decided to check it out, it ended up being connected to a two story, open air mall, so we wandered around there for awhile, poking into and out of stores.

    It was getting to be late afternoon, so we found a place to eat in the mall - Ruby's Diner. A chain in the US with 50's theme and waitresses in striped uniforms. The food was ok but I think the shake pushed us both over the edge! There was a little more time to ...

    ... that I pretended to paid for. We believe there was someone famous eating at the same time as us but no one would tell us who he was except the "Inspector" or the "Fisherman." We believe he is in a rock band because he had long hair, was not very attractive, and had an attractive blonde attached to him. Whoever he was, we were happy that he paid for the firework display:)

    ... halfway to Hana stand - seeing the local cave jumpers, climbing through lava tubes, and seeing the black sand beaches at Wai'anapanapa State Park - and of course making it all the way to HANA!!! This last item was accomplished just in time for us to turn around and make our dinner reservations at the famous Mama's Fish House. Dinner was great... But the setting is so incredibly beautiful.     ... public washroom to change for dinner so back to the local park where the wind surfers were, Patti and I got beautiful there changing into dressy clothes, makeup went on in the car and we were good to go.

    So Mam's Fish house, the restaurant was rather big it is nestled in some tree's along the beach. They have made it very eclectic somewhat nautical inside, we were welcomed with valet free parking nice treat. Their prices are 5 star in deed but the ...
