... book series, a series of comedic mysteries, with elements of romance and family, set in modern day San Francisco. The books are perfect beach reads- easy to read, funny, lightly suspenseful, and periodically insightful.

By 3pm we had reached our capacity for sun for the day and headed back to the car, turning north in search of a late lunch. We found it at Koloa Fish Market, an in modest, narrow store on the main street in the ...

So Mahalo Hawaii, Thank you Hawaii. Mahalo for being so beautiful and allowing us to experience yet another small part of this vast world. Larry cooked the bratwurst on the grill by the pool and we ate at the table by the pool. When we came in it was after 8:00 and pretty dark. We saw these bugs flying around a streetlight at the beach. They seemed to glow but it was just the light reflecting off of them. We did the dishes and blogged etc. until it was time for bed.

... talking with all that were there.

April 10th Thursday. Up to a somewhat sunny day. Maid was to come this am so headed north to Lumahai Beach. It is too dangerous to swim so did a two mile plus walk in the sand. Hard walking but good for us. Most steps had us sinking 4 -6 inches into the sand. Finally at end of beach, through a jungle, was a safe place to swim. Back to the car and into Kapa'a fora burger at Bubba's good, gooey and ...
