Czech it out!

A travel blog entry by jenwojnarowicz

... br> On Sunday we spent more time wandering the city, it was pretty chilly out so we tried to find something to do indoors. We went to the Gastronomy museum which is about the history of food in the Czech Republic. It was a pretty small place but a fun way to explore a less commonly taught piece of the culture. There is a beautiful music hall and we tried to get tickets to the Cinderella ballet. Unfortunately by the time we got to the ticket office only the most expensive ...

... guys sculpture by David Cerny. Beau even took a quick video for his Mom- is that a bonding moment? Our favorite site was the astronomical clock. It is 603 years old and still runs from its original parts. Downtown takes about an hour to get to from the Villa with a 40 min metro ride where you have to change trains. But it's worth it. But ...

Asolutely stunning

... ever seen before, and because the bones are so articulately arranged, you almost forget that you are looking at real skeletons from real people. Crazy huh!

Next sight to check out is the Prague Castle. Its a bit of a hike up a hill across the river, but well worth the trip. On the way we got to walk across the famous Charles Bridge, and rub the statue of St John for good luck.
The St Vitus cathedral was by far the most amazing church we have seen. Its ...
