... of the Garifuna people (aka drunks). Took a river cruise through a canyon, meeting some decent guys and staying with them and meeting an indian woman that looked like a twig, before visiting a waterfall which emitted hot water! It was impressive in itself, but then when I stepped under it and it was like having a hot shower that was badass – the annoying kids flogging coconuts less so! Went up to Tikal to see the mother of Mayan ruins and stayed in Flores, where I found all ...

There was a lot of rides but this one was by far the best it was Splash Mountain there was no wait so we went on it twice and we got Soaked! But lucks we got our ponchos at Wallgreens. Then we watched the Fireworks they were the best fireworks I have ever seen and then we went ...

Tomorrow we leave here on our was to Hawaii. We spend the night in San Deigo but will not have much time to see the sights. We are starting to get tired and are looking forward to some lazy days on the beach.
... haha, was still good though! When Megan came in she went for a wee nap then we ordered a Domino's for dinner and enjoyed it watching movies all night!
Megan had a couple of days off so after a brunch of left over pizza we went to Hollywood Studios (again for free...perks of working for Disney)! We went on a few of the 3D rides and of course the two biggies - Rock n Roller Coaster and Twilight Tower of Terror - which were all really good fun! After ...

Of course we weren't going to miss the Electric parade, so that's where we headed! Caitlyn was asleep until a few minutes before the parade when we woke her. She liked the lights on the characters and thought it was neat. Then we watched the images projected on the castle before the fireworks! Caitlyn loved the show!!

Historical Traveler Reviews Vista Cay Orlando
We stayed at a superb condo town house in vista cay from 28th july till 11th aug The house was fabulous booked through VRBO site and was exactly as stated all mod cons
Absolutely Loved Vista Cay :-)
We booked this resort through VRBO.com and florida sun vacation and were very satisfied. We stayed in a 2nd floor 2 bedroom condo near the community clubhouse. The moment we walked in, we fell at ease. The condo was extremely clean, flat screen TV's in both bedrooms and living room and no problems with parking. The only downfall was because Vista Cay is brand new, there was no shuttle service to Univeral or Seaworld. However, We had a rental car and it was only about a 5 minute drive to Seaworld , a 8 minute to Universal and I-drive and Wet N Wild were about 2 minutes away.
Wow.. What a wonderful place to stay. We visited from 23/6/07 - 8/7/07. Very luxurious, beautiful kitchen with large fridge, cooker, dishwasher and microwave. This kitchen had everything, also coffee perculator, mixer, in fact everything you would have at home. This was a 3 bedroom condo. The master ensuite is on one side of the family room and the other two bedrooms and shared bathroom on the other. This provided everyone with plenty of space and privacy. Location was great. Just past Conference Centre on Universal Boulavard. We had a car, but when we used a taxi it was $11 to citywalk and $7 to Pointe Orlando. Would highly recommend it.
We just returned from a weeklong stay at Vista Cay Resorts.
My husband, daughter, and I stayed in a two bedroom first floor condo June 13 -19. The condo was very spacious and was nicely decorated. The condos are individually owned, so I would check out the decor on the internet before renting. Our condo had a balcony that overlooked the lake. We had a short walk on a very nicely landscaped walkway to the pool area. The pool was rather small for the number of units, but was not crowded. There was also a hot tub and kiddie pool. The pool area could use some umbrellas because there is absolutely no shady areas in the afternoon.
Best Vacation EVER!!!!!
What an unbelievable deal for the money. It was the first time our family had done a condo rental---wow!!! Vista Cay has really set the bar pretty high with all of the lavish amenities. It will be a challenge to stay a hotel again after this experience.
Everything one could possible need was there in the kitchen. Vista Cay was a wonderful delight and made the day complete after returtning from a day at the various attractions. Again, great stay and couldn't imagine staying elsewhere upon our return to Orlando.
My family stayed at Vista Cay from 24 May through to 7 June 2007.
Vista Cay Resort is a new development of vacation rentals near the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. I went down and stayed in one of the 3-story townhomes for the week with some friends.
4 of us stayed in 'Be Our Guest 1', unit 100 at Vista Cay, this week while attending a trade show at the Orange County Convention Center. Vista Cay is just about 1/2 mile east of the Convention center, much closer than most of the hotels in the area that advertise that they are within walking distance.
