Given that we only had 5 days on the island, it was disappointing to lose 2 of them to figuring out how to get to Brazil in time for the games. But thanks to Bruce's persistence and determination, we finally got resolution which only set us back roughly 12 hours. But this now meant that we were now going to stay in Suriname for 36 hours which neither of us anticipated. But more to come on ...

If your looking for pure relaxation and a total carefree holiday then Tobago is the place to visit
It has changed considerably from 7 years ago since my last visit. There are allot more shops, petrol stations and houses and there are now 2 new shopping malls. Not your usual size malls like those of the US or UK but you can still browse the few shops that are there. Its still a nice afternoon away from the beach.
