The joys of traveling this section of Mexico is that all the coastal places are short distances from each other. Our next stop was Playa del Carmen which is about 2 hours from Tulum.

There were few people around and we had a wonderfully tranquil afternoon. No loud Latin rhythms here. We began to wonder if we should have chosen Tulum at which to relax for the last few days of our trip instead of Playa del Carmen. We would see.
