    ... morning at about 4am so that gives us about 3 days to do the journey, we'll probably try and do about 400 miles tomorrow between us to try and break the back of it and then have a couple of Slower easier days after but we shall see!!! It very much depends on the traffic really and then we obviously have to try and get through the carnage at Calais without any immigrants climbing aboard!!! Doors and windows will be well and truly locked!! ...

    ... our van. It meant that every time you met a car coming in the opposite direction, if you could even see it coming around the bends, you would have to slow down and judge if the road was wide enough for you to pass. It made for rather harrowing driving, and not very relaxing -- at least for the driver (me).
