    And so it begins

The good lord blessed our trip by pouring holy water from the sky on us all day long today. We were on the road by 6:08am, and 14 wet, cold hours later, we made it to our first destination: Pawnee, Indiana. Just kidding! We're in Chesterton, Indiana at the lovely Indiana Dunes State Park on Lake ...

A couple of quads and a tram bought you to the top. Sitting on the Canadian border in northern Vermont, it's quite remote making for small lift lines. It was a four hour ride but the ride back was a bit more interesting with the impending ...

... into the top 6. It was super cool because my two teammates were leading for part of the race, but because the course wasn't that wide, there were a lot of crashes. I was feeling really strong on the hills, so I made a move. I underestimates the length of the 2nd to last hill, and though I was still with the pack of 6 girls, my legs were dying. I ended up falling back to the 7&8 skiers and was able to stay on their tails ...
